The 2016 J.R.R. Tolkien Calendar features more than two-dozen of Tove Jansson's illustrations from The Hobbit, and is the very first time they have appeared in an English language publication! The original art has been newly scanned for the calendar, and will include a full-color center poster of her original paperback cover painting, plus an article about the artist and her legacy by Tolkien expert and biographer Brian Sibley.
