"When the archvillain Basilisk sends a computer virus to Hero.com, the Web site that lets users download superpowers, it leaves heroes Toby, Pete, Lorna, and Emily as the only Downloaders on the planet! All the other superheroes have gone into hiding, and Basilisk and his evil crew are closing in.

It'll be up to the four friends to stop the bad guys before their virus completely destroys the heroes' central headquarters. But with glitchy, short-circuiting powers and some contention among their ranks, it'll be no simple task for them to outwit, outpace, and outplot the evil masterminds.

And, of course, Villain.net is still out there too, working for the other side..."
