Debuting on December 8, 1980, and running until August 6, 1989, Bloom County was one of the most popular and influential comic strips of a generation. The strip ran in as many as 1,500 newspapers a day, a number rarely matched before or since. Bloom County's cast includes: Milo Bloom, Steve Dallas, Cutter John, Michael Binkley, Oliver Wendell Jones, and, most popular of all, Bill the Cat, and Opus. This 12-month calendar features 12 of the finest Sunday pages from the Bloom County run. Each Sunday page has been carefully chosen and has been digitally remastered and recolored. Also, rather than the usual two-tier format, each Sunday page is reproduced as full three-tier pages. Each month will have special moments in Bloom County history, as well as 'great' moments in history.
