The animation produced at Jay Ward Productions is largely known for the witty writing, sterling voice cats - and poor animation. The animation was produced in Mexico but despite the execution, Ward had some of the best artists in the business; many had been Disney-trained and most of them had gone through the groundbreaking UPA studio.
