Meet Natalie Worthy. She was born invincible. She's a stranger among us all, feeling left out and resented everywhere she goes, confounded by the differences between her and us. Could anything be more ironic than to be the one person on earth so inherently capable of protecting others through her own invincibility, and yet completely not compelled to do so because of the very same thing? Natalie is practically a nihilist as a symptom of her invincibility. Can Natalie be reached? Does she have a destiny beyond drifting into meaninglessness?
