In 1958 a new comic pocket library hit the news stands published by Fleetway. Following the success of Cowboy, Thriller and Detective comics Fleetway launched the first in a hugely successful series of war comics. The first was War Picture Library (September 1958), followed by Air Ace Picture Library (January 1960), Battle Picture Library (January 1961), and War At Sea Picture Library (February 1962). This collection reprints for the first time ever the very rare first issues of all 4 libraries.
