Captain America - US Army - Operation Rebirth brought about the classic uniform modeled after the American flag and, most notably, issued a heater-style (like a crusading knight would carry, meting out justice) bulletproof shield, which he would become famous for, a personal side arm, and the codename Captain America. His mission - to fight Germany's terrorist group, lead by the villainous Red Skull, during the War years of the 40's. Only 250 of these amazing full-size, all metal shields will be made worldwide. Hand hammered steel and hand painted like the original would have been! Includes display and hand numbered certificate of authenticity. Stands approximately 29" H x 24" W x 4" L.
